Hi I think it may be my brakes not to sure, I will be driving on the freeway at 100 and somethings in the front end vibrates really bad it shakes the whole car and the steering wheel really bad. to stop it I either have to put the brakes on hard or put the foot down and take off. I took it to ford and they didnt know what it was.

Dos anyone know why this happens.

Did you have the wheels balanced as well when the alignment was done? Balance and aligment are 2 different things, and wouldnt automatically be done with an alignment.

Maybe find a decent mechanic in your area and take them for a drive?

Yea I took them for a driver and it made me out to be full of sh*t coz it's one of those things that happen every so often, although it does it to me everyday afterwork but it wouldnt when I took the guy for a driver I need to get new back tyres so will get it done than and see what happens.

its an alignment issue for sure. as you drive, the wheels end up turning at slightly different speeds, with turning, wheel spin etc. so every now and then they get to a certain point where the weights on them react to the weights on the other wheels and cause the car to shudder. that's why it only happens now and then. get a good wbalance done on each wheel and the prob most likely will dissapear.
