Lag/spool.....certainly no worse! Peak numbers are well and good in my case and without the plenum I would have been pushing 18+ psi to get 350. Once you start pushing high boost the turbos start getting really hot and then intake temps increase etc etc and the engine become more prone to knock blah blah. The fact is you WILL make more power with a good plenum and the engine will do so more safely.....these are the facts! Stick with a std plenum if you wish but if you want an easy/safe 20 - 30rwkw's bolt on a decent plenum.

BA 3.45 diff t56 box.Making 10psi before 2500rpm so if anything it has improved over the whole rpm range.15psi by 3000rpmPrivate testing track, fried 1st & 2nd beside VE GTS from standing start, hit 3rd and disappeared (7+ car lengths)before selecting 4th and decelerating.Standard internals, x-force exhaust, Nizpro Valve springs, Siemen Deka injectors, Walbro pump, street rubber, self tuned.Fuel system hurt times as well as tyre's for traction. Also worth noting that my plenum comes with a plug-in wiring harness to extend the throttle body wiring. Kev

You need to extend the wiring yourself and drill holes in either the plenum bolt holes or the lower manifold holds...but not both. Connecting the hoses etc can be painful due to their location. You also need to source longer vacuum hose for the brake booster and fuel pressure regulator. Not sure if the Niz and PW kits have this included? Chris AKA, Rapid Systems, if you made a wiring harness for the plaz and included relevant longer hoses then the plaz cooler would be a lot easier to fit for the novice. If the Plaz plenum holes were bigger so that studs and bolts could be used then this would make the install a peice of cake (using studs doesn't make it look quite as good though). Checklist of additional items for the plaz plenum fitment: - Extended vacuum hose for brake booster - Extended silicon hose for the fuel pressure reg - Silicon gasket sealant - Something to block off extra hose fitting on the plenum if a bov is not used - Wiring harness - Bolt (6mm?) for the MAP sensor (my std bolt didn't fit) - Optional (bigger holes on plenum + studs and nuts).
