APS Information Day - Sydney

As one would expect, Australia's foremost exponent of Forced Induction, APS is heavily involved with the improvement of the Falcon XR6-T. With a comprehensive selection of complete, engineered power-up systems from 280 kW to 390 kW, they have the products and expertise you need to significantly enhance your Falcon XR6 Turbo.

APS has kindly offered to give our FordXR6Turbo.com members a information and technical day on the APS Phase II System and the legalities of modifying your XR6 Turbo.

APS Information Day Agenda

9.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.

Dyno - 10 Falcons to establish base power figures of the XR6 Turbo in both manual and automatic cars – 1 ½ hours - Cost $30 per vehicle on the dyno payable to C&V Performance on day.

10.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

Morning coffee break.

11.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m.

Technical presentation by David Inall on the APS Phase II System.

12.00 p.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Question time from the group with regard to the APS design approach of the Phase II System.

12.30 p.m. to 1.00 p.m.

Discussion on vehicle noise and emission limits that are a requirement of the EPA.

1.00 p.m. to 1.45 p.m.

Lunch break.

1.45 p.m. to 3.15 p.m.

Dyno another 10 Falcon vehicles including the APS XR6 Turbo with Phase II System.

3.15 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.

Short break.

3.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Overview of APS plans for Phase III and Phase IV systems.

4.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Question/answer time from the group on Phase III and Phase IV Systems and any other APS products.

5.00 p.m. Close of day.

I'll be there, looking forward to it.

I've been told C&V will be an APS Ford kit installer, so they do have an interest in it.

$30 is very cheap for a dyno run.

They have done a lot of Unichip installation & tuning work in the past, and have a lot of experience with performance work.

Thanks to APS for organising this so quickly.

Based on your performance at the last run, I'd say GADAN will come in at about 110 RwKw. :lol:
