Getting it up and running would be a major hurdle on the electronics side, I'd assume it would need to communicate with a BEM due to the immobiliser etc. An aftermarket ECU can't control the 6 speed auto.

your best bet would be to try to get a front cut FG F6 so you have all the bits.

I am sure a few F6 owners have backed them into a pole or 2 not being used to a hipo RWD.

Geez I didnt know Steve opened up shop over there. that's a bold move, hope it all goes well. Sam.us, I would be getting in touch with Steve at RDP, there would not be many folk in the US that know as much about F6 engines/tuning as Steve would. The electronics with the ZF 6spd Auto could be a tough job for you though.

From recent posts on the Aussie V8 Forum Steve is someone who should be avoided. He supposedly bailed from Australia owing about 200k to VPW and a whole number of pissed off customers after shoddy work. He now has a bunch of pissed off Yank customers after him and he recently posted on some US forum asking questions about buying a gun.

Best to avoid someone like that.

Took longer to get things moving than planned.

Things done:

- removed the 200 I6 with 2-speed automatic

- removed the power steering system (30 pounds)

- found 4-speed column to replace column shifter

- upgrading wiring for alternator, had generator

- upgrading and moving horns to radiator support for more clearance

- getting ready to install 250 and C-4

Looking for OZ250-2V cast iron heads and intake.

and the USA is still not far enough away from the *beep*..yes it is right he skipped the country owing alot of money to not only VPW but lots of other companies as well. he took his "Worlds fastest cleveland xr8 ute" with his "worlds biggest ego" and f#&ked off to a country he would blend in a little easier. I`ll miss that nervous twitch he had though, it was the best bullsh*t indicator he had.
