If an intercooler is too large - would this create lag due to longer time required to pressurise the system? Assuming cooler is large enough to cool the air down sufficiently in the first place.2. Does the BOV plumbed back into the intake system on a manual car reduce lag by dumping boost back into the system, reducing time required to pressurise the system for the subsequent gear?Sorry if these are silly questions... ETM Member 1,194 Member For: 17y 8m 17d Gender: Male Location: syd south Posted 22/04/09 12:06 AM Share Posted 22/04/09 12:06 AM 1. yes it will definately effect the time it takes to see boost pressure in the manifold.2. to achieve this you must plumb the air back into the compressor wheel at a very specific angle to ensure the flow of air onto the compressor wheel actually makes it spin and not the opposite.
