I recon nothing a TT kit wont fix. Would love a TT SS they make bulk power & reasonably reliably for not as much as you would think.

But in the end I dont regret my decision & for you out there in the v8 world I have the replacement for displacement. lol.

theres nothing like that kick up the arse you get from a t, the whole experience is phenomenal, but, and I know ill be upsetting some fellow t owners, I saw a ve ute the other day and jesus did this thing have a tough idle. when he floored it, the noise was better than an f1 car. pretty sure it was powertorque/walkinshaw built.ive got some decisions to make.

the bloke that tunes my car has a 600plus hp TT Monaro & one of the other young fellas that lives around here has a tt ss & I can tell you that its made me think about converting. The noise & the go is sex on wheels but I think put ours side by side on the street & track & I can tell you what the result will be. The falcon just seems to get the power down & the fact I have the added bonus of the zf.

Another little toy in there garage is a 900hp s/c BA xr8 which makes all of ours look like a toy. Got to love a Ford 8 making bulk power.

Yeah I've heard these cars. Have seen them too, in my rear vision mirror about 18 cars lengths behind. Can't hear much when you're that far away :)

our 6Tb's can make bulk kw/torque much more cheaply.. use less fuel.. less peaky... lots less front end weight.. but never mind the boss may be heavier/slower /more thirsty.... The v8 always sounds great nomatter what your driving style....

well I have both and they both have their good points and bad... but ultimately the V8 is more "fun" to drive, but the turbo is a hell of a lot faster...

Give me the whistle of a turbo at max boost over the rumble of a V8 any day.

Of course a turbo'd or blown 8 is even better.

having been a V8 fan my whole life, and never wanting anything different, I drove the t and fell in love with the "snapiness" of it, they are obviously world apart in the way they deliver thier power, and they have many different charecteristics, but I can appreciate and enjoy both types of engines in different ways, I love my I6 but in all honesty, my weekend warriors will more than likely be taking the tune of a stout, angry and violent V8... nothing comes close to the sound of nasty 8 backed by some blower whine, on song and the smell of spent rubber....
