my question is how many guys with bf's changed their valve springs when getting close to 400rwkw? at the moment iv got 360rwkw and iv been told my valve springs should be changed if I want more power but from what iv read on here the bf springs should be alright for that much, sorry if its been coverd already but did a search n couldnt find anything

Yeah this is something I would like to know too^^^ I don't want to change my Valve springs until I really need too... so does anyone know what are the STOCK BF Valve springs good for eg: 360-400rwkw's???

They may be ok to start with, but they will start to go soft over time. It also depends on how much boost you use to get to 400. IF your system is really nice and hi flow then you won't have too much trouble, but if you push north of say, 17psi, with a restrictive exhaust then you may find some float.

My BFII valve springs died around the 320rwkw mark...... Wasnt evident when running the F6 intake at this level on 15psi....

Same power on 12psi with opened up intake and had springs issues immediately.....

After changing the springs, made a HUGE difference..

Dont gamble your engine on valve springs, if people are saying they have had problems

at 320 rwkw well best change them.

One stray value will destroy your engine.

Fit valve springs set you back under $1000 you dont want to add a engine to the cost.
