They told me if I get a 4 inch dump into a 3.5 inch cat I will need to get it retuned as the car may not be happy but he said a 3.5 inch dump into a 3.5 inch cat will not need to be retuned and the cars should run well.My questions is I am only after a max power output of 320rwkw eventually but at the moment I do not want to get my car tuned. So if I was to get the 3.5 inch dump pipe and cat, would that size be able to support that power (320rwkw) when I eventually get it tuned or is the 4 inch the way to go. should I save up until I can get a tune at the same time or will the 3.5 inch dump and cat be sufficient?Thanks guys really appreciate it.Ben Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Had to get it retuned plus injectors as they were out...You probably need to add injectors into the mix..I now run 4" dump, 4.5" Cat... 4" over diff split to 2x3inch with 3.5" angled tips.I must say the second setup is a lot better! But very costly I am also selling my X-Force 4" Over the diff - Muffer + 4" tip if anyone's keen? Posted 18/04/09 05:33 AM Share Posted 18/04/09 05:33 AM You will need injectors or you will run lean running higher power... or you could just tune it at 280rwkw, disregarding the potential power... or just get injectors..I run asia(not quite china) spec FG 4" x-force dump - almost 5" cat - 4" pipe - over the diff - splits to 2x3".... so pretty much from the 2x3" starts it's actually a custom exhaust(which will probably end up getting sent to get made as the X-Force Quad System)Hence why I have my over diff - rear muffler - tip section for sale...
