Hi all,

I have some nice brand new 4 piston brembo's with drilled and slotted rotors which were meant to go on my xr6 before it was written off, now I am thinking of putting them on my new territory.

It is a rwd one so all that is needed for them to fit is longer brake hoses which will be pretty reasonable to get put on them.

Only thing is I cant seem to find any rims that clear the brembos to suit territory. I have called around to a few shops and as soon as you say Brembo everyone says they dont have any.

I would prefer machined lip with black inserts if anyone has any ideas, but will look at anything 20-22inch.

If I can't find any rims I will just have to sell them, anyone keen for them? Brand new and I can organise freight at your expense. Located in perth.

Cheers

Lorenz

The TTG rims will clear the brembo's as will any stock XR 18's and also the FPV 18's>

As for aftermarket wheels, you may find that info on many threads in the wheel section on this site.

My 19in ROH Fury's clear my AP Racing brakes, and I run 360mm front rotors with 6 piston jobbers.

Brembo and AP are virtually the same, clearance wise.

I have had a look around and went to tech 9 tyres today over here in O'Connor in WA. Seems that if you want to fit the brembos to a set of 20" plus wheels you need to spend about $5g's cos they need to be load rated.

Looks like I am going to have to get rid of the brakes and get some nice 22's, $3200 incl tires and fitting is not too bad. Advanti Sabotage's look the goods to me, any other suggestions?

Any rim & tire combo you fit to your car needs the correct load rating, if you dont you may wipe your insurance and can possibly face criminal charges if you injure someone. SOunds silly but if you intend on towing with the TTG trust me you'll want load rated gear on the car.

I would stick with factort wheels you know they have been tested ,territory are not light. If you happen to have a accident all insurance companies will look for a short cut too not pay up . If you get other rims have it in writing to protect yor BUTT.
