so the coyote is a 5.0 engine with what, around 330kw in FPV Guise?

Keep going.

Base Mustang NA version makes around 300 kw, perfect for XR8, but there's also supposed to be a HP version for special edition Mustangs such as Mach 1 or Bullitt. Probably another 10-20 kw, which would also be good for XR8.

Then there's the special version for FPV that will supposedly BLOW the others away.

Direct injection will become available in a few years that will add another 10% power, so the futures looking good for the Ford V8.

There will be a NEW (not teaked or power update )v8 in a few years. Prob won't be to 2012.

At one stage there was no talk of a 8.

AND NO GTHO.....Theres already people putting deposits down at dealerships. It's not going to happen.

New V8 will be 2nd quarter next year, it has to go in before July cause that's the cutoff date for Euro 4 compliance, and the 5.4 won't pass that.

Rod Barrett of FPV has already told GoAuto there will be a new V8 next year.

The current 5.4 won't pass Euro 4, so they either have one that does before July 31 2010 or they don't have one at all. What do you think will happen.
