Well done mate hope you do well. I was at a private place for 10yrs including apprenticeship then left and started at Ford. I learnt most at the private workshop but I have learnt alot at Ford aswell. They put you through alot of training at Ford when your a master tech where as I didnt do any training at the private place,just the bosses knowledge and things I tought myself. Good way to do it instead of starting at a dealer then going to a private place. The first 4 yrs are the most important on learning a proper working attitude and how to listen and be observant. Its easy to get distracted at trade school with everyone talking bout the beasts they have but try not to. NUFF SAID.
