Dalts had the nozzles for free back in Jan as his post suggests. They are premo nozzles but think you would need a decent pump to atomise the water through them as the pump that comes with the water/meth kit is 4.5lt/min at 220psi.

Better off buying this kit like I did while the dollar is still good-My link

Ray076 and I got ours for Aus $360 delivered each as we offered US$270 each for them so try even lower I suppose!

I agree to get decent intake temp drop that kit is the way to go!!

I got the stage 2 back when the dollar was crap!!cost around $700 still good value in my books.

cheers lee

Couple of notes on some of these comments....

1/ evaporative cooling relies on air movement to create temperature drop, and

2/ every degree cooler is 3 horsepower gained.... add up a 10 degree variation and it's substantial - same as driving your T on a cold winters night vs 1pm on a summers day.

Worthwhile project when done the right way. Great info guys.

ok soooo having a good crack at doing this to my ute .. :) if it works - coool, if not oh well im bored and want a project .. ha

ok today go given off a mate his REAR windscreen washer bottle off his 300zx , that he does not use any more .. its pretty cool it has 2 built in pumps and a low level switch bulit in .. so today after work I just quickly mounted it in the back right near the drain holes to run all the lines , if it works good might mount it under the tub .. its not wired or lines run yet ..

I also mounted and wired up my lil control pannel I made to fit in the dash .. its alloy and iv machined ingraving into it , has a big XR6T and then " water intercooler sprey" in it .. plus "ARM " and 'ON" .. runs 2 switch's and 2 lights ..

one switch will turn it on and off .. and the other will only turn the pump on when its in boost . im running a boost pressure switch's I got from ebay .. all in all should work well .just waiting to get a inline fuse and RELAY plus work out my water lines .. few pics ...

I think any type of water on it will help plus a 50/50 meth mix ... evos and wrx's run them standard (washer bottles) .. and on a super crisp cold night spreying water/meth on the cooler will drop temps right down .... iv got a intake charge temp gauge built into my MSD dash hawk so il be able to let ya know how it works ..

looks the goods sly6t.

I used to run a gtr at the drags that I sprayed/soaked water from a hand held spray bottle with ice in it onto the core, pre run.

Even after the run, the intercooler was still very cold on the outlet tank of the cooler.

Free hp, are good hp. :turboboink:

These are the kits we go for- http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Snow-Performance-Stage-1-Water-Methanol-Kit-20001-/120721085729?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c1b899521

You can offer them $270us and they'll take it straight away also so save yourself even more money. Only thing I had to make that I forgot to buy from the kit was the alloy bung for the nozzles- http://www.snowperformance.net/product.php?pk=52

I have made brackets up for my bottle to mount on the passenger just behind the light with my rapids IC kit so I will take pics once I finish it, if ever!
