I dont know if my expectations are too high, or it could be a number of issues...Basically stock fpv f6, auto, 1700kms on it put out 237rwkws on a dyno known to read low. Final result was 265rwkws. The gain is decent and comparable to other people. However the seat of the pants feel is extremely dissapointing - to the point it really doesnt feel much different. From what I have read, a tune on the car should transform it... I would also like to mention that I have owned a variety of performance cars and sports cars (inc a ba mk2 xr6t- so I know what to expect from our cars) so maybe I was expecting too much... I have used the tuner for all of my cars and he has always done a great job - so Im thinking its not the tune...I would like your opinions on what I should do:1. Get the car dynoed at another workshop to get a comparison power figure. (obviously all dynos are different and this would allow me to compare numbers against others - thus eliminating the possibilty of a bad tune).2. Wait and put some more kms on the car to run it in and see how it feels in a few months... The engine does feel tight.3. Get a full exhaust and retune - tuner said he couldnt get any more power out of it as the exhaust was too restrictive and causing detonation. Maybe a free flowing exhaust will significantly increase power. 4. Go back to the tuner with my concerns - Im worried that the tune is good and its the car not the tuner...What should I do, I dont care about the number on the paper - Ive been doing this far too long to worry about that, I want to feel the difference.Unfortunately AIR is closed forever so no local drag strip to test the car on - however on a private rd, done a best 0-100 so far of 4.81s. How does this rate?I will post a dyno later on - I cant find it right now. Let me know what you would do - Thanks guys

Has his car been tuned on the same Dyno your using? What did he get?Your RWKW seems low but it all depends on the Dyno.... Ive seen on this forum people gettin high 280rwkw's on there FG F6's.Looking at your 0 - 100kph, 4.8 is quick mate. You would be on your way to a 12.6 - 12.7 1/4 mile which to me seems bloody good for a car on street tyres. The best Ive seen recored on that HSV 427 was 0 - 100 in 4.8 I think and they come out standard with about 285 rwkw's so I guess your car seem comparible. My suggestion is chuck up your Dyno results so we can have a look but if your not happy with the feel of the car chuck it on another Dyno and see what the reading is. You should of definatley felt a difference with the tune though mate. I have a stock FG xr6turbo soon to be tuned and I hope I can notice the difference. In my mates BF the difference was massive. Felt like a different car.Ben

I`d go to a different dyno for a power run, should only cost about 50bucks and see how it goes, then take it for a bash down the 1/4.I wouldnt say the exhaust is restrictive at 260ish rwkw.
