Advice Needed...

I have 03 XR6T ute. I bought an exhuast today and im lookin to get my car flash tuned.

1. can I fit the exhuast without the tune or will it go into "limp" mode? <<<not sure on term

2. Which tune for my ute? im interested in being able to changed from time to time(8,10-14PSI)

3. will I need bigger injectors?

1. if you change the cat, then you will need a retune. The exhaust is good for 300kw so I would be looking at other parts to upgrade before changing it out.

2. With minor mods, 8psi and 10psi tunes would be a good start.

3. you will need injectors if you are looking for more than 250rwKW

by retune do you mean custom tune I can I just get like a flash tune?

Mate,

Car wont go in limp mode... Just the check engine light will come on, that a tuner can later turn off.

All the fuel trims work off the front sensor.

Still, wise to check boost and afr's after the exhaust is fitted, if you dont do a tune straight away.
