So yeah it will continue cooling the turbo down but not really effective if the little bastard is glowing! I beleived that thermosyphon would get rid of the oil or coolant out of the cartridge, hence reducing the chances of it carbonising.... Definitely wouldn't be as effective as a water pump though...but that's Ford's theory. Not sure how effective it is, I ran a turbo timer as well though.
