It is pointless putting the top quality oils (over $20 per litre) if you change them every 5-7500km.

I use the nulon fully synthetic as it is cheap, Aussie and great quality and change the oil every 7500km.

I use nulon too zap, but I didn't put it in until first oil change @ 15k. was that too long for an oil change?

its 7k between changes now so I should be right though hey? I did leave it a bit long for first change just hope I didn't f*ck anything by doing it. (drove it hard at times). Got Elite to do my 1st service and the mechanic there said the factory oil wasn't too bad and didn't have much shavings or crap in it.

I probably should get around to do the gearbox oil soon while its not being driven, so transmax Z seems to be the go around here for manuals?

I just change the engine oil in all the family cars at every 10000km and all other fluids at every 40000. Its easy to know when every service is due as its every XX000.

Just use good quality synthetics after you consider it run in. (I wouldnt use synthetics in the engine till 20 to 40K km)

Just wanted to try this again.

On the advice of most, ive left the fluids alone till ive hit 7500ks. I was gonna give it a crack over the weekend and wanted to know what to do. Apparently its not good changing to 10w-40 nulon till the engine is abit older. Should I go something else. But still thinking about the manual box and diff.

Was gonna try Transmax Z in the box, seems to be a popular choice but what about the LSD?

Cheers
