I tilted mine multiple times, and opened it up many more, and no hassles....and no mercury switch Enjoy, and be careful, that's all there's to it....and avoid static discharge into the unit.... Eject and Load don't do anything either, load just says "wait" for ages then goes to radio, and eject does nothing.I think one of the cd's is jammed or something... I want to pull it apart to have a look, what is wrong with pulling it out with CD's in there?

I did a bit of searching and could find nothing on how to remove a stuck CD, so I ripped the ICC out and stripped the whole lot down tot he CD player. It looks like a major job to get the CD out of the actual unit. Has anyone managed to get a jammed CD out ?I might just call ASL and see if they do an exchange unit.
