I'm sure it will put a smile on your face. However, injectors are the 1st restriction in making more power and aren't too expensive so if you think you can afford them grab a set. Also, it's probably a good idea to mod your air box for a bit less restriction, even cutting a hole in the front lower section will help. You can fit an F6 lower intake snorkel (cut a hole in it with help of diagram attached) to your existing airbox and should be able to pick one up for $80 or so, maybe less off forum secondhand.Mainly injectors and tune will be a big improvement. Cheaper injector options are Bosch 42lb or Deka 60lb, Bosch 42lb are good for high 11's in street trim - I use them. See which ever your chosen tuner prefers and what prices you can get them for.And forget the ex as much as you can. I broke up with a head f**k girl, saved and bought my long desired turbo, life's been on the up ever since Edited 23/07/12 04:11 AM by -SteveR-

Had to see her casually buy 4 cars while I could only dream of another vehicle. Anyway I have my smile back And you guys are bloody awesome to help a newbie like me.Thank you all.

You can't get them fitted until the car is getting tuned anyway.. I'd recommend buying whatever injectors your tuner recommends but if short on cash you can pick up 60lb dekkas on ebay for a good price.. Even if you don't do the F6 snorkel for the airbox mod you can throw in a K&N panel filter for $100 - $140 which will do a pretty good job also..

Make sure if it's second hand that you get it cleaned and let it dry out before fitting it! Heard of a dead engine from someone re-oiling theirs (they are not a dry filter) and putting it right back in right away without waiting for it to dry out properly, excess oils blocked an air sensor or something. juniowhat1 Member 21 Member For: 12y 4m 5d Posted 24/07/12 07:54 PM Share Posted 24/07/12 07:54 PM I have a budget of 2k.possibly 2200.I live in Ipswich Brisbane. Been told by elite, 4 k would get me the works tune, injectors etc etc fitted.I would love to do the works but having the funds I could be limited. I have 3k but would love to get some new alloys too.Anyone have any suggestions as to what else I could do with 2200? Besides just a tune? I wouldn't imagine doing any other mods till later in time.Thank you in advance for your replies if anyone does.

Im thinking of doing tune and whatever else I can this year for 2200 then do more work next year.Or just a tune. will the injections be ok to wait and all? I know I'll have to pay for tune again.
