I plumbed my back to the intake as it just sh*tted me after a week of it on a filter.

I can confirm that the standard bosch suck under idle and just off idle as mine does it on the turbo and also when I had 2 on the supercharged 8 they both suck like crazy so cant be coincidence or faulty!

You dont need a filter on a bov that is set to vent to atmo.

Bov's dont suck air at idle either ;)

Hence why they are called blow off valves and not "suck in valves"? :beerchug:

Guys you are getting confused with a \"BLOW OFF\" valve and a \"BYPASS VALVE\" Fords are fitted with a bypass valve from factory for the reasons that our06t stated above.

The factory valve is reverse vented (I.e. what Mr Man and Adrian have stated above)and purely vacuum operated, so yes if vented to atmo is will suck air at idle and light throttle (vacuum conditions). Boost acts against the side of the piston, whereas in a conventional BOV, boost acts against the underneath of the piston. Best keep a filter on there or buy a dual port BOV.
