Is My Intercooler Too Small?

ive got an intercooler which is 450 x 300x 76 which is installed on my car

its a cheap intercooler that I got from a mate , how much better would this flow then the standrd intercooler

my car has a plazmaman t/b to cooler pipe

Sizing sounds like a Monza Cooler (or Wog cooler) and they are ok compared to the factory cooler, however I would say 300rwkw is where they become in-efficient.

they flow 4x the factory cooler but only marginally cool more, meaning better performance on a cold day/night. ecu will stop the fun quicksmart on a hot day.install a kit from one of the site sponsers.

just to add to my previous post, when I had the monza/wog cooler on, after a few wots, if you put your hand on the coldside endtank it would be warm as, but with the rapid it is cool.a good cooler that works properly is essential to these cars. ive only just learnt that myself. still though,as a first cooler for cheap, theres nothing wrong with running a monza for a while, but honestly mate, fork out for a big quality cooler as soon as you can.
