K&n Panel Air Filter

Bought myself a K&N panel air filter the other day. Fits perfectly into the air box and is definately made for the BA.

Cost $120

Doesnt the XR8 have a contained pod kinda set up?Damn sure I saw one at the local ford market?It didnt SEEM aftermarket.May of been the GT though?!?

Did notice a slight increase in induction noise up around >4000 revs but not much and the car seemed to be breathing better in the high revs( reving more freely). Couldn't say the car went faster because the difference isn't that huge. Just like any filter you can't expect big horse power increase.

Check if that's not one for an AU. The XR8 does have a pod filter Not at all like the XR6T which has the panel.

So, a K&N is a reuseable filter that you just clean (how?) and put back in?
