in the fg series, the f6 models have a bigger turbine housing also.

The F6 has the same size turbine housing as the XR6T.

The compressor wheel is smaller in diameter.

and run more boost I believe? plus your turbo is smaller then the f6.. edit :icon_ford:

Only the compressor wheel is smaller in the XR6T.

F6 has bigger intercooler as well. So intercooler, turbo, injectors and tuned to suit so more boost. Of course tuned up the F6 has more again.

So what about internals...does the FG F6 have uprated internals over our FG XR6T's?

so u saying that f6 fg has bigger inj than xr6 fg stock? I thought they were the same

Even if they are I'm sure it's marginal, you'll have to update anyway. Bottome line is FGT owners have to spend like 1k to get there turbo to a BA/BF standard. LOL!!

Are you talking about the actual turbocharger or the car?

If it's the turbo you're referring to, then that may be the case.

But if it's the car your talking about, not likely.
