Ive got my fg xr6t,ive got SS induction, flashuner and a custom tune, my ute made 280rwkw on a safe tune.

Next is a turbo back 3 1/2inch exhurst then a retune.

what I want to know is where does the extra power that the f6 ute has come from??

F6 has bigger intercooler as well. So intercooler, turbo, injectors and tuned to suit so more boost. Of course tuned up the F6 has more again.

So what about internals...does the FG F6 have uprated internals over our FG XR6T's?

Drift13,

This is just my opinion but if you want more power then I would be looking at a larger intercooler like Process West has released and bigger injectors before changing the exhaust. The standard exhaust will still flow quite a bit more than you have now.

Ive been lead to believe it does. Lighter rods and stronger valves.

The only internal difference is the pistons, which have a slightly lower compression ratio and are a little stronger. Everything else internally is the same.
