I had an 80mm throttle body on my BA NA/6 and it made a small difference in throttle response, but coupled with a decent induction kit and the top part of the manifold bored to the same size as the new throttle body, it's a worthwhile mod.

Hi all,

Getting some mods to my Bf N/A xr6 in near future, wondering if any other N/A owners have upgraded to a larger throttle body and if they have noticed a significant increase in performance? SS inductions have a 75mm option and its ''supposed'' to give an 8rwkw increase and even more if used with a CAI? Results or opinions appreciated

Thanks guys,

bigger t/b gives better top end... But its far from being a restriction, stock tb will outflow any other mod you can fit to the n/a engine

your spending money on advertising, not on improvements.

that's cool, and what I wanted to know.

I have to change my TB to cable anyways, so I might try to get myself one of those 80mm LS1/2 throttle bodies.

top end is what I need too :)
