I know they cop a hard time and people complain all the time about ford service... but here's my story anyway.

I took the car back with 3 complaints

1. Battery has gone flat 3 times now, had to have roadside out to jump it.

2. Rattle/knock in the parcel tray.

3. Auto dip mirrors not working.

So what did ford do?

1. Not find any current draw after 4 days in the shop, yet they gave me back the car with the sunroof disconnected. why disconnect something if you can't find draw?

2. Blame something else that clearly isn't the problem (Nothing)

3. Tell me it was fixed, all I had to do was setup the key?!?! 'oh I hadn't tried that!' (insert heavy sarcasm here)... it wasn't fixed even though this was the 3rd time for the same problem!

So after 4 days in the shop nothing was fixed, only now my sunroof doesn't work :banghead:

I have (gasp) non-genuine wheels, with "FPV Caps".

On DAY ONE the FPV sticker came off. That was 3 months ago.

I've been back to the dealership no less than 3 times since.

Still no cap/sticker.

Chances of them continually not having had the part 'arrive' for a long enough time period that I bite the bullet and tell them not to bother? Pretty high I'd say. Except I'm going to keep annoying them about it, just out of principle.

And as I'm sure you've seen in other threads:

- I'm on my 3rd (and FINALLY accurate) ambient temp sensor

- Similarly have had 3 fruitless visits in an attempt to correct a wildly inaccurate fuel gauge.

I think they need to change their motto to "Ford: We already have your money, remind us again why we should do something for you?"

Got to say I have not had any problems like tha in 6 years of ownership, however my wife constantly has major issues with her work cars have all been made by another major auto manufacturer in Aussie. Her problems are not niggly ones though. More stuff like engine, steering rack, trans, etc etc. LOL my father has a 2 yo very expensive uero brand and he has constant electical problems. Make sure you ring and complain to the dealers parent company and you should get a response.

:roflmbo: Dont hold your breath. I informed HO one of their dealerships was defrauding them (yes I had ample proof) yet they decided to do nothing about it. :censored: Fraud doesn't give a crap about their customers. if they did they would make these dealerships more accountable.
