the last couple of nights around 3am darn car horn starts going off for about 30second then stops scared the crap out of me then it stops and starts again all the doors a locked any ideas its a xr6t 2003

not sure what it is,but I'm thinking down the lines of cold. So if heat expands cold contracts so something may be happening when it cools down at 3 in the morning.

do you know where the spare keys are, a mate hasn't got them and playing with your head and playing with the panic button on the remote.

joe if it's only happening at 3 in the morning I believe it has to do with the cooling down of something otherwise it would happen all the time.Change the fuse for one night and see if it still does it.

I had this happen this afternoon, emergency beeping going off. Little did I realise my wife gave my spare keys to 15 month old daughter to play with. My daughter obviously loved the red button and what it did and enjoyed pissing the neighbours off. Then she cracked it when I took the keys off her. Very funny. The little things kids do! LOL
