Make sure you disconnect the battery BEFORE you disconnect the airbag.

Apparently it thinks its been hit in the front end and fires off the airbag???

You need a special socket Robbo...can't remember the name of it though. Torquebit or something? :stupid:

Your friendly Ford dealer should be able to sort it out with minimum fuss :+1:

From memory it is a T6 Torx bit. you can get a whole set from bunnings for $30

After you disconnect the battery, make sure you hit the highbeam switch a few times to make sure there is not residule power.

Rob ive fitted about 5 of these, 2 to my own cars, one to Saleen's old bus, I can do it for you if ya want.

You need to remove the airbag, but disconnect the battery first, and let it sit for a beer or 2.

Once the airbag is out its straightforward.
