I used to install these things as my first job when I got out of school. The price difference to the securi-mesh is bugger all compared to what it used to be, and considering it (IMO) looks better on the front of the house, this is the way I would go. I just got some done and some new blinds. There was 5 holland blinds, 2 block out holland blinds and 3 security doors (single lock, not triple) all with the stainless steel mesh, not the thicker powdercoated stuff, and it all came out at $2500. So I think the doors were around $500 to $600 each
Guest newl Guests Posted 20/03/09 06:26 AM Share Posted 20/03/09 06:26 AM Price is a bit high. My ex-girlfriend got her front door done with the hard mesh stuff for just a hair over $500 fitted. If she was still speaking with me I'd ask her who it was she got to do it and let ya know. lol

I'm assuming it's piss-easy, but that may just be the tetosterone talking...
