anybody going down tomorrow? I'll be heading down in my stock as a rock fg turbo with a mate from work in his tuned BA turbo (10psi tune?)and another mates "tuned" VZ SS.

I'm hoping my stocker will show em up but they talk up there cars alot so we'll see. I would really like a low 13 and being auto it doesn't seem too out of reach but I am a noob at goin down the quarter!

I'm also debating what tyres I should put on the back... I've got the stock 18's with dunslops or FPV GT 19's with KU31's(which I dont rate :( ) any feedback will be helpful...

I drive an Ego FG sedan so if ya see me down there stop by for a chat

Good Luck and stick with the Kumho KU31's let some pressure out of them maybe try 25psi...a few have managed 11's with those tyres....

The KU 31's were fitted 2 weeks ago and have less than 300 km's on so they are very green and I'm "trying" to look after 'em, where the dunlops are @ about 80% tread and I don't care for them which means start line burnouts :).

Will there be much of a difference?

Difference could be a 12's vs 13's run? :) I'm a fan of the 31's after my 11.94 :) Mine had a couple thousand Ks on them when I ran at the plex.

Skin em up a bit man! :) Oh and I forgot to even let mine down from street pressures (36PSI rear).

I'm heading there tomorrow too mate so I'll probably see ya down there. Hope to crack into the 12's (I'm pretty average at launching manuals). I'm in a velocity (light blue) BA. I agree with prev posts on the kumho's too, drop to 23ish psi and see how she goes :VB Beer:

Cool Cool the Kumho's seem to be the fan favourite. is 23 psi too low?

that's almost half what they are at the moment (40 psi) tyre size 24519r35

Couple thousand on them (said in earlier post) during the 1/4 mile run. They've held up pretty good (couple AL cruises and XR6T cruises, many bursts on the drive home as well as the thousands of normal kms) but I think the rear set are finally starting to fade a bit, seemed extra slippery the other day on the highway, more throttle feathering required...

edit...checked my odo history pics, tyres woulda had about 3000-3500 km on them.
