Hey Brug, It will continue to kill them mate, Your better off upgrading them and not having to worry about it.

So what is actually wrong with them? I'm assuming its just the sh*tty type of pads they use? Would it be possible to annoy them enough with getting them fixed every time it happens for them to upgrade them for free? Lol.

Brakes will be covered! I killed my first set in about 10k kms

And they replaced them! Then I warped the rotors in the hills morning and they machined them! Then I really hammered them just out of south dandalup so its time for proper upgrade after christmas!

But since its pretty common, they'll cover it but will try and get out of it!

Kael got warranty for his diff bushes week before last and I think he had same issues with ford being twats!

My brakes are warped I'm sure of it...and squealing like a stuck pig as always. The hotter and drier it gets... >_< Glad to hear I should be able to get them machined under warranty at least.

Need slotted!

If u take the rotors off yourself (easy job) take them into repco they only charge like $40 to skim each disc, and they will do it while you wait.

Otherwise do what I did, get some DBA 4000 slotted rotors and chuck them on the front. They seem to be a fair bit better, and I've only had them shudder a tiny bit around powercruise after 5 very hard laps around barbs. Once they cooled off they are back to 100% again :)

Took my every day drive car down to the Plex 25/11/09, first pass was 11.886 seconds at 116.42mph with a slow 1.921 second 60'.

Was very happy with this as was only expecting to run in the 12's.

Yeah the DBA 4000's are what I plan to get...always something else to buy! Supposed to be saving right now too :/

Good to hear they worked fine after cooling off!
