steve, I didnt cotton on that you were going down last night, would have said g`day if I realised you were there. good times from a stocker, time for some mods.

not bad temps either, humidity was lower than when I was there couple of weeks ago hopefully it stays that way till next week. :beerchug:

Thanks everyone! I saw your ute there near Kael but I got yelled at for leaving my car so I wasn't keen to go for a wander after that! Had so much fun and stayed till about 10 since I'd only had 2 runs before the burnouts.

Car had a full hour to cool off with bonnet open when I ran the 13.59. SO glad I decided to have a crack at manual mode on that run! Thought I was seeing things on the slip after a 13.7 and a 13.9...stoked!!

Certainly is time for mods. Have cooler and cat ready to go, injectors sorted, fuel pump decided on. Just need to get Ford warranty work done then once it expires...weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! hahaha.

Need tips next week when we all go down on how to launch it, drop my 60 foot!

Oh and one more thing, the commentator was talking about a Ford turbo that ran an 8 and left...who was that??? Your drag Capri Tocchi??

^ I wish. that was Rod Sammit. he has a full bodied EL XR6T (Ovaboost tuned, Allfast gearbox). runs 8s for a while now :)

built SOHC motor, Motec M800, powerglide, china turbo manifold, stock (ported) BBM (intake manifold), big turbo (turbonetics), Roo16.

car is a weapon for a 1500kg car :stickpoke:

I don't think you'll get it off the line much quicker than you already have Steve. They don't stall up on the factory tune, and if you try you'll just go backwards. Causes excessive heat which in turn makes the box say NO :stickpoke:

Thanks for the tip in that case - I won't stress her too hard then next wednesday. I've found on the street taking off that sometimes it just feels really solid, other times it's just 'ok' relatively speaking. Never stall it up on roads.

Perhaps I can at least get more traction on take off. My 13.594 was with TC on still, I think. What's the best stock 60 for a ZF, any idea?
