Are you in performance mode ?

If so it is normal to have hard shifts. I have noticed the FG are far harder in the shifts in comparison to the BF I had.

It is very noticable in Perf mode, also the throttle is blipped inbetween gear changes that can create the impression it is shifting harder.

You can disconnect the battery for 10 mins to reset the gearbox counter rating to see if that helps. The gearbox learns your driving style and shifts accordingly.

The box still learns in Normal Drive. If you drive it hard the box will change its shift pattern to suit. The FG's learn alot quicker than the BFs did too.

Yeah I'd say it's the adaptive shift or whatever fancy name they give it...can be very aggressive even on moderate throttle after a bit of spirited driving. I find it actually shifts the smoothest under full throttle. :beerchug:
