Junior and I went to see the Moscow Circus tonight.. Cost me 95 bucks, VIP seats for he and I but what the hell eh..

It was pretty darn okay, entertaining.. Clown got me into crowd participation, but made less a dick of me than the other hapless shmucks.. Guess that's what paying that bit extra gets you..

I do see a work cover claim tomorrow however, old mate fell off the high wire..

I reckon it had to be 20 feet.. Conservatively.. He did`nt seem to strike anything enroute to the deck and they said he was bright and alert ( but not alarmed ) had all feeling and hadn`t broken anything serious..

I don`t think I`ll whinge about MY job for a while..

I went on the Mayors night with free tickets and I was impressed with the performance, however I didn't think it would have been that expensive. I guess you can see why its not cheap after old mate falling lastnight

Was no high wire on the night I went though unfortunately.

It was pretty decent, eh.. Apparently Carlos broke his knee and femur.. I heard that second hand at work today.. It was all pretty dangerous sh!t eh.. The Brazil Bros. in the thing with the 2 wheels at either end that spins like a windmill, man they were pushing the boundaries.. One guy went arse up as it spun and near fell out, was not part of act either you could see a couple spots of blood from where he landed and just managed to keep inside the wheel. His mate running around the outside of the wheel was really working to do it..

The globe of doom with the 3 jokers on 80`s was pretty impressive too.

Son and I had the very best seat in the house, imagine sitting on ya lounge and the performance is happening from coffee table to TV distance..

I was ready to be bored witless and was only there for my son, but I ended up having a pretty fat time.

I saw the same show from probably the same seats a couple of months back when the tent was pitched at Loganholme. Was it one of the guys in the spinning contraption that fell? If it was then it was only a matter of time. The guy running on the outside nearly fell off during the performance we saw.

Also the globe with the bikes....... You can imagine the view we had when three quarters of the way through the act there was a loud BANG! 2 bikes at the bottom with 1 rider underneath it all motionless. 2nd rider was dragging the bikes and rider out of the way to get the door open whilst the 3rd stayed circling at the top of the globe (no room to come down).

The finale went on after they dragged the rider away. they even brought the rider back to wave to the crowd with an able bodied rider under each arm. Weekend at Bernie's came to mind.......

The includes a girl standing in the middle at the bottom of the globe in one part of the act. Jetute went the the performance after us. They still had the same number of riders but the girl had been replaced by a bloke.

Whatever these guys earn to do this stuff is not enough......

The contraption guys had a couple near misses, one guy went arse up in the wheel and near came out..

Guy who fell 20 feet ( atleast ) was on the high wire..

Errrm, there`d have been a time in my life when I`d have signed up for a go o n the contraption..
