Fitting is going to be a bit fiddly but Geoff from Snort will find a spot I'm sure.Chris you mean the turbine exducer yeah? I know the comp exducer is 112mm but not sure about the turbine side. I'll have to make a call.

People have been asking me who will be tuning the car. As most would know, when we get to these power levels and have very different hardware to the factory car, it becomes more difficult to tune using the factory ECU. I might be stupid, but one of the things I want to do it take the factory ECU as far as possible, or as far as someone is willing to take it before they pull all of their hair out. If we can't get to the target of 1000hp, an Autronic is probably in the mix. This of course requires a lot of time and input by the tuner. And from what I'm being told and what I know of how long a process it takes to dyno, tweak the tune and flash the BA ECU, it is a very time consuming. And to be perfectly honest, I didn't want to fork out a gazillion dollars to do this. So I've made this comment on another forum:There is one candidate it's been narrowed down to. We've met, talked and have come to a basic agreement but we still need to formalise details. The arrangement will not only be for tuning. It will also mean a sponsorship for the car and the car will be signed when it runs and is involved in events. At this point it looks like this will happen but until it does, I will not mention who it is. Edited 26/05/09 11:45 PM by straughsberry

I got sick of the car cutting out when coming to a stop, being very dangerous, and idle hunting. It could not be used as a daily driver in that state. Also, from what I've been told the maker is no longer interested in looking into issues with that product. I moved to a new ecu that is far superior, with good support.Seriously I doubt you'd get more benefit from the Autronic over the Ford flashed ecu. With a big enough turbo, cams, IC, good exhaust, and injectors you should be able to get 600rwkw with the Ford ecu. Don't necessarily blame the ecu, as there may be other components that are the botteneck.Brian
