Guys, if you are going to use pictures of someones engine bay, make sure you have permission first - especially if the photo is of a project currently being built behind closed doors and not previously publicly displayed.

if your going to have a big stall 600 would be hard! also isnt this a t51r..aka gt4508r. better cut some holes in your bonnet :P

A "big" stall is not planned at this stage. The turbo is not that big. It fits nicely on a high mount manifold but some air-conditioning may be on the cards anyway.

I didnt say it wasnt possible. Put enough boost in anything and you will make the power. But, for me I am aiming for the lowest boost pressure possible - for the reasons I gave before. In the long run, it will benefit me more. No need to waste anyones time talking about how to go down a path I dont want to go. Sounds like its not Strauberry's path either.

Yep, efficiency is a part of the game. Gives you head room and peace of mind.

Yeah it all comes down to its build specs, T51 is just a name...

Only one way to find out mate, and if its too small just try something bigger, nothing wrong with that :beerchug:

Chris I am still doubting this turbo will make that power but I am assured it will make 700+rwkw. A similar turbo is being tuned as we speak and I am waiting to see those results. Keep in mind it is a custom spec and I am not being told what that spec is? Do you thing it may involve Tabouli injection?

What gearbox and what size stall are you planning on using??

I am doing some R&D on the 4 speed up to 500rwkw. So I will tune with that and when we need to go further, a C series will be on the cards. And on the quiet (shhhhhh), a 4 speed box to handle 1000+hp is on the cards.

Are you divorced? This is an impotant consideration for me when spending big$$.

Hehe. Yep have been for a few years now. I am my own minister of finance. But your right. A project always costs twice as much when your married ;)
