Next Step With Mods.....

As title just looked thru a few threads on this and was wondering if anyone can give me some advice...

basically my car has a bov and a cat back exhaust oh and lowered on 18s now I was wondering what is the next step after looking at a few threads is it a good idea to relocate the battery and geta cold air feed and a k and n filter plus a flash tune??

also read you can bash the inners out on the cat???

just want more power really but still want it reliable and dont want it to cost the world I use the car at weekends and that's it it has done 124k with fsh and was std when I got it and still is basically :)

anyway any help and advice would be much appreciated guys and girls :)

keep reading in the ecu , fuel systems and exhaust sections you'll find plenty

first you need to find a workshop to do your tuning work , anything more than the air intake and maybe a basic intercooler upgrade is going to mean you need someone to do custom tuning to match the things you change ie removing cat ,

so first flash tuner , fuel injectors ,cat intercooler and it goes on an on an on

and just get the 2nd air intake from the f6 for now don't need to move battries and crap until your looking for big power

yeah dont wanna go mad would like to keep std injectors fuel pump etc and maybe just change air filter system and "chip" it.....

ok get the typhoon airbox and kn filter and just buy a flash tuner with the 3 tunes already in it .

flash tune box is what most use instead of chips they work much better and give you the option of 3 tunes usually 10psi , 8 psi and a valet tune limits the revs to 3-4k in case you have to let someone else drive your car and you don't really trust them

were would I get a typhoon airbox?? should I go to ford dealers for one??

presume you mean a panel filter for airbox?? are these flash tunes plug and play??

what power will it give me ie from to 240kw too..............

try FTG salvage or I got my air box from bayside spares through ebay ,you only need the bottom half and the 2nd snorkel

flash box is plug and play have a look on the capa website they have more detail on them ,wouldn't buy one from them but you can read up on how they work

rear wheel kw most of these cars put out an average 190rwkw and with the 10psi generic tune you should see somewhere between 230-250rwkw depends each car is different , if you take the 250rwkw figure that would put you from 240kw up to 300kw at the engine
