put stock muffler back on and get a high flow cat instead and then retune.

I'm looking at getting the twin xforce 2.5" quad tip catback exhaust for my 04 BA xr6 turbo. I know I'm not gonna any sort of power gains from just doing the catback but I want it so my car atleast has a decent note till I decide to do the high flow cat. My biggest concern though is that the twin xforce 2.5 quad tip catback is not gonna be much louder than the stock exhaust. I'm not after ridiculously loud so I'll constantly get EPA'd but I do want louder deeper note or it's pointless getting the exhaust. Can anyone help me with info on this?

I think you can buy two sorts... Big mufflers... Quieter.. Smaller mufflers -louder...

When you do cat and tune it will get louder anyway as more airflow
