jordak Member 1,226 Member For: 20y 8m 1d Posted 25/05/05 05:43 AM Share Posted 25/05/05 05:43 AM It sounds to me that if you are after an exhaust to run on an otherwise STOCK car, then these sound like the go. If you are planning future mods I would go something 3 1/2" or bigger(as long as you get a edit/piggyback to tune properly aswell).Chris<{POST_SNAPBACK}>goobs I think you will find that the system is better than that and will suit over 90% of xr6t's as I am confident of it suporting over the 400rwkw!!!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Dynowog,When testing the exhaust system, the most I got out of this system was 270 rwkw -however depending on tune/dyno etc u may be about to hit 300 MAX. After this we did a full customer 3.5" system to obtain my current 300 + rwkw (im running aps gear in the car also). As for the claim of exhausts being sold for 850 .... the supplier of the exhaust knows of all systems that have been sold to date, and nobody is selling them that cheap, unless it is an imitation system or unless they are loosing money on the systems. Themeshman260 - The exhausts are good quality and they work. Like I mentioned previously, I should know, they were tested on my car. The cat and muffles used in the system are Xforce (their own cats/mufflers) and the they produce a good note. Are you in sydney mate?? If so PM me, im going to my mates exhaust shop on sat, your more then welcome to meet up with me, ill show you my current quad system and you can see the Xforce systems in flesh (and meet the owner).Regz,Dean<{POST_SNAPBACK}>DeanWould I be right in saying that the dump pipe displayed on the website was just a one off, as they dont sell them by all accounts. If so is the system still a noticable improvement over the stocky without the dump pipe? Also given DW comments re the drop in price is it safe to assume that we can get the S/S system for $850 or do you still believe it will some sort of copy?CheersSteve

If people have other results im sure there will also be other factors that effect the results. As for the CRD price, agreed, perhaps it should be dropped....im not sure myself how they can do it so cheap, but you never know.Jordak & Fr33dy- Yes you are right, the dump pipe currently on my car/on the website, was a one off, and at this stage is still being tested. We will test a 4 or 4.5" dump pipes soon and see how they impact the performance/driveability/power and torque of the car. For this reason, the pipe as shown on the site has still not been released. We will also be doing some tests on the 4" Cats.Jordak - I am not sure about the CRD system, I have not seen the system so I really cant answer your question in regards to whether or not it is a copy.RegzDean

I work for Fords and my brother works for the immition control and he will know whether it's any good

Better value would be to put money into larger intercooler or transmittion mods before going to 300rwkw anyway. macka
Guest mufflerman Guests Posted 25/05/05 12:24 PM Share Posted 25/05/05 12:24 PM I am the owner of Best Mufflers at Carlton. I have been fitting performance exhaust systems on many different types cars for over twenty years, see www.bestmufflers.com/customers_cars for a few examplesI have been using xforce products for around five years, in this time I have fitted thousands of xforce mufflers and exhaust systems. Thanks to dean [forum member] we tried many different combinations of exhaust systems on his xr6 , I supplied the exhaust systems dean supplied the dyno results. by doing this I could be sure the product I was selling was going to produce a quality sound and also produce power. If you own a xr6 turbo the 3" xforce system is by far the best system available, around 20kw increase is pretty good without ecu mods and if you do a few mods the exhaust will do the job to around 270/300kw , if you have more power the 3 1/2" system will be available soonIf anyone is interested and live in the sydney metro area you can come in and try a mild steel system for one week, [booking required] if not completely happy you can return your car and the factory system will be reinstalled and your money fully refunded or you can upgrade to the full stainless steel system. This offer is available for a limited time so be quick. contact me Chris through www.bestmufflers.com for prices for forum members only.some people are quoting very cheap prices, the question is, can they supply the goods ??www.bestmufflers.com
