I've got the S/S 3.5 inch XForce and yes it does sound a lot better when hot. Deeper, growlier even a better backoff note. My exhaust grows in length by over an inch when hot. It was enough to rub on the tow bar and it needed to be shortened. Don't forget that Xforce is a cheap product and we know that thin metal is used. Lightweight baby, lightweight...

Cheers guys, that's all I wanted to know. Looks like I don't have an exhaust leak after all. Maybe I should've bought a mild steel system.

Does anyone have a mild steel aftermarket exhaust on their xr6/f6 ? Any feedback on the sound will be great.

hey just wondering for those who have an xforce 3.5 on their utes if had any trouble with the back section of the exhaust hitting on the back axel where it loops over it. Mine seems to hit when I go over a decent bump I have super low springs in the ute.

hey mate, I have everything youve mentioned and no trouble with it hitting the axel?? just scrapeage over curbs but that's expected from a lowered car..

I got under it the other day as I thought a section must of fallen off a hanger but that was all good, and there was a bit of a dint where it had been hitting the back axel its like the bend in the exhaust starts too far back and doesnt clear the axel properly like 1inch clearence or less
