You can make plenty of power with that setup, I have 4inch dump, twin 2.5 and makeing 455kw on E85 and 409 on 98, get on board, sounds good and draws bugger all attention, the turbo sound draws more attention than the exhaust

What cat? still the xforce one?

It's in the wastegate. Had it tuned 6 weeks ago and made 282 but was laggy and max boost was 12 psi. When I went back it was only making 242 and running about 8 psi.

A bit of fiddling saw 268 at 11 psi so the exhaust was dropped off and the car instantly made 304 proving issues with exhaust beig very restrictive.

I need to do wastegate actuator and retune anyway. I may aswell not mess around with the exhaust as its stock just with a cat and it is proven to be quite a problem.

It's one of those all or nothing situations if I am going to repair the flapper and actuator and retune I may aswell do the exhaust and get some real results..

If possible try to get mild with stainless mufflers, bloke on here reckoned it was awesome. You get the deeper note of mild but with crackle of stainless.

I had a good exhaust place here in WA quote me up on reducing drone from my 2x2.5" manta mild steel system, it has a very small rear muffler. They said stainless and bigger muffler would make it a bit better, about $400-440 from memory.

Anyone else able to comment on mild pipes/stainless mufflers?

I c your point, lm about 2 upgrade to a 2.5 soon but not worried about the flapper mod I only won't to run 15-16psi my tuner said not to worry about it unless it needs replace or your going over 15-16psi, currently car as standed exhaust with the cat kicked and center muffler removed 308.1rwkw on 10psi and that was on a mainline dyno. I won't to get about 320rwkw and ill be happy, then when it sh*ts its self FG motor in and bigger turbo and all the another sh*t theses things are money pit lol.

Your current exhaust will flow better tan the one you are putting on.

What cooler and intake do you have?

I wouldn't worry about the flapper mod if the turbo didnt have to come off for the actuator and flapper to be repaired anyway.

I have be honest I didn't expect to see 35rwkw restriction out of the standard exhaust with 100cpi cat. There is definitely an issue with the exhaust.

Better off leaving the car stock once it all goes wrong makes me wonder why I got started.

Can anyone please give me a rough idea on what im looking at price wise for a

-4'' dump 2.5'' back with twin tips in SS

or

- 4'' dump 3.5'' back with twin tips in SS

Or what is reccommended.

Both Xforce as this is the cheapest???? (correct me if wrong). Just after a nice exhaust without spending huge $$ just after the exhaust which wil help me push 300rwkw+
