If you can't make 500rwkw with a 3.5" exhaust, the exhaust isn't the restriction. We have been over 800rwkw with a 4" exhaust with 3 mufflers. 6BOOSTRapid can make up a 4" exhaust to fit the ute. This will flow 600rwkw with a single muffler. The 3.5" completely hollow wasn't enough to make it past 500rwkw.Be warned, they wont sound great though! A larger exhaust will achieve this.Longevity plays a huge part over 400rwkw, even on a built motor your still always cautious.
Boosted1 Member 346 Member For: 16y 1m 29d Posted 03/03/11 09:07 PM Share Posted 03/03/11 09:07 PM I went a 4" custom exhaust on my fg ute, I have 2 hooker turbo mufflers (straight through) and cat. I wanted an exhaust system with as little back pressure as possible. at my point in time this exhaust seems a little over kill for only 350rwkw. but I am making that power at only ~12psi.this exhaust will come into its own when I up the boost to 20+ psi and the 1.00 t4 exhaust housing. in saying that a 3.5" could probably make the same power level I am trying to acheive. ben's f6 is proof of that, 610rwkw is insane! It also has twin cats and a 4 inch dump. Simon at xft has stated really good things about them and apparently there's a + 700hp 6t ute running this system in wa with cats in place. It is replacing my custom made 3.5 inch system from RDP that is supporting 500hp atm...

How much difference is there in the pipework from 8 and a 6t? I looked on xforce website and the pics look exactly the same
