Huntian Member 66 Member For: 16y 13d Gender: Male Location: Perth Posted 18/03/09 05:38 AM Share Posted 18/03/09 05:38 AM Its very easy to earn over $3000 per week after tax working in WA in the mine fields, but you have no life and have to live in mining site houses, which are sh*te!!Correct... Well, kinda. I dont know about it being easy to earn over $3k.. But I'm picking up what you're putting down... I have no life, however I do live in a pretty f*cking awesome camp, with some pretty f*cking awesome people. We play cricket or footy once or twice and week and enjoy a beer after work. Its not too bad. However, its not quite like working/living in the big smoke. But, I'm up here for a short time, to make some money and start a good life for myself. Short-Medium term Sacrifice FTW. Huntian Member 66 Member For: 16y 13d Gender: Male Location: Perth Posted 18/03/09 06:02 AM Share Posted 18/03/09 06:02 AM yeah it is, but respect to anyone that can do it and make it work. Its sad to see, but there are a lot of broken relationships up here for that very reason... Still, if all goes according to plan, I'll be pretty well right by the time I find myself a wife or kids... I'll give em a call..Through some agency specializing in overseas work. Didn't bother to keep details. Wife wanted to go for a few years so we can come back and pay the mortgage off and live well. Unless you knows others there, life would be boring I recon on a long term contract. You would have to live in a small 1/2 bedroom flat, which I cant handle after living in a large house with cinema room etc
