Amen to that - some of my 'richest' clients have (or at least, claim they have) no money. Much of it is paying off debt or their wealth is simply tied up in non-cash assets.

Currently earning aprox $1800 p/w week working an honest 13.5 hours a day 9 days a fortnight. I get payed for my time off so that reduces the agony of being payed 8 hours a day when working 13.5...... :crybaby: Staff contacts 50% FTW 50%FTL. Once you sign a staff contract the company owns you.

This thread got me thinking about my younger days when i was sub contracting. earning $800+ for a 12hour shift working 3 and 1. Damn i had a good time but had nothing to show for it. When i "retired" to perth I was earning $29.50 an hour working 10hour days and achieved more than when i was earning the big $'s.

Like others have said it not really about want you earn its about what you do with it. But i gotta admit is nice to pay the mortgage on a brand new house from 1 fortnights pay and have $'s left over...

Exactly what does your missus do envy? Just so I can tell mine to go get the same job.

She is Head of Group Program & Portfolio Management at one of the big 4 banks.

If anyone is in the trade/service industry I'm sure your in the same boat as me with the current economic climate.

Revenue seems to be drop, drop, dropping each week.

I seem to be loosing a contract each week... bloddy depressing!

OMFG up to 15 in the 2k+ bracket!

I take home a bit over 600 after tax, for 4 days fun work (34 hours). I wish I had more money since I'm pretty broke right now, but life isn't just about the dosh and I have fun so can't complain. Hell I (well, the bank for another 4.5 years) own my dream car and love it to bits, I'm in a nice house which I share with mates. Could be far worse, like I could live in Rocko or Kwinarnia (get there through a walk in tool cabinet in the garage) HAHAHA :roflmbo:

ROFL, sounds like a quick truck and quick fleet of 8 turbos hahaha

I tell you the fleet maintenance seems to have jumped over the last 12 months. Mate even the Toyota echo has had a tune and some injectors.
