The car is an auto.

Yeah, I will be on Jamies cruise as long as the weather is ok. And as for Bayside Performance, I couldnt recommend them any higher. Great work and a great bunch of guys too.

Im really not sure about the track as yet. I got a feeling it could beat RDP's 11.88 and I'd like to give it a shot. But I might get the tail shaft done first and then go out. I've already throw the new car warranty down the drain so if anything breaks its gotta come out of my shallow pockets.

I wouldn't be so confident about beating that time mate, utes do run slower then their sedan counterparts at any given power level don't forget...

Will also depend on how the tune brings on/holds power. Best way to find out is to have a crack though :roflmbo:

Many people have run more power through the standard tailshaft with no dramas.

After speaking to the guys at RDP, they said that their XR6t that's done a 11.88 has a stronger single piece tail shaft.

I wouldnt bother throwing it down the 1/4 unless I was confident it could beat the 11.88. Just be a waste of time otherwise.

I just have never ran the 1/4 before. I guess im a little worried about breaking something and then have the car off the road. Ahhhhhhrrrggghhh... who am I kidding. I'll be there next test and tune then. Its just gotta be done.

So why are the utes slower? Is it traction?
