Title says it all, I'm after some top quality 5 x 7's for my 04 xr6t. I wanna try and stick with the 5x7 if I can so its a straight swap over. I have a D class 800watt 4 chan fusion amp so I will have enough power. Just want some speakers that can handle some bass (most will be going to the sub) but am really after some top notch clarity that can handle it being turned up real loud .Anyone got any ideas as to what speakers I should be looking at?Cheers, Daniel

Posted 12/03/09 10:18 AM Share Posted 12/03/09 10:18 AM Well if you want top quality we assume price isnt an issue? Do you have Premo sound?I've installed into BA/BFs a lot of Alpine 7x5s. I wouldn't bother looking at your Clarions,Kenwoods etc.You could also look at Eclipse (a bit flat sounding) or some of the 'American' companies JL, Kicker so on. You really need to go out with your own music and audition speakers in your price range, remembering that what they sound like in the demo board isn't what they will sound like in your car.
