What 19' Tyres, Cost And Where In Se Melbourne

Hey all, I know this has been covered and I have searched the site.. I found some topics with some recommendations, but these were some time ago..

My rears were shagged at 15k, they are now rooted with 20k and in need of urgent replecement. The recent rain in Melb has made driving... um interesting..

So my questions are:

What should I get, Size / brand?

What wear should I get?

What was the cost?

Where in SE Melb is best (site sponsors?) Have used QuickFit in Frankston for years..

With what I have read, I should be able to get away with around $300 a corner.. Have had quotes on Maxxis - $249, Sumi's - $330, Kumho - $ 370. No dealer has even mention Marangoni Mythos??

Dude im in the same boat, and still havent got off my ass and got me some new tread hehe... Those quotes are pretty much the same as I had too.. I believe the Marangoni's were bought from tyre factory in dandy by a forum member...

Im also in the same boat but good luck trying to find a tyre that everyone on here will agree on. Some will say its the best tyre on the market then others will say its the worse tyre they have ever had. I think your best just to stick to a brand name tyre like yoky or dunlop and try it for yourself. Try St George tyres on Ebay he had the yoky advan's for $310 each 245/35/R19.
