if u buy a ve n put a pd supercharger on u would probably come close to giving a f6 a wave as u drive off at the lights. but depending what supercharger u go. but some commo boys runnin TT kits r pullin some serious numbers for stock engine. only to add fuel pump n inject.

Any car is easy to mod provided you have a blank cheque to work with.

As far as mods to $$$ = power ratio I would suggest a T better than an SS.

I traded my BF Typhoon for a VE Bogan special in May last year and have been regretting it for the past 10 months.

Last week I done a deal on an FG XR6T as the Bogan special has had problems since the day I picked it up and Expensive Daewoo can't seem to fix them.

I sick of taking it back to the dealers every few weeks with the same electrical problems.........No more Holdens for me.

Go The Phoon with the ZF, you won't regret it!

Too true but the Phoon had zero problems and a BA XR6 Turbo ute I owned had zero also...........The VE about 6 minor and 2 major, both major ones unresolved.

All dealers are tared with the same brush... Mine had issues to start with and 5 dealers farked me around. Got it fixed in the end, but only because Mick @ Pitlane and I stuck with it.. I was so close to going postal, or selling it. (glad I didn't now) I had a few small issues with my T, but they all got sorted with no dramas. If it's an easy fix, you seam to have no issues... As soon as it tests them, they all run for the hills???

BTW, welcome back Phoonn.. :dontknow:

About a month after getting my F6 I drove a VE SS and thrashed it a bit. The SS definitely doesn't feel as fast as the F6 it is like you have to push the Expensive Daewoo more to get the same result. As said above the typhoon just feels effortless. The interior in the SS is bloody terrible as well especially the ugly as sin hand brake. Most people don't care too much about the interior but it is where you will be spending your time.

Mate, seriously the f6 would walk away from a ss.I have a dirty old Ba MKII manual and it beats Ve ss and all it has done is K&N filter and ss induction, you would be crazy if you didnt take an f6,unless all you want is a posers car if so buy the Sh!t Sack
