Ute Spoiler Removal?

ok so my mate just bourght an xr8 ute with a hardlid which has a spoiler on it, he seems to think that its a wankers wing n wants it off, problems is he dosent want 4 little holes in his lid, who has a good DIY solution or dose anyone know where to get some little plugs or anything just through any good ideas at me to I can shut my mate up???

cant you use the same inserts that you use when you change your tarp over to a hard top that go inside the pop rivet holes

yeah I was going to suggest wehat bfxr6tue said if it was rivest holding em down. Im sure if u went to a rubber place or sumthing ud get something made up?

what about using same size rivets they touch them up same colour til you can work something better :spit:

I removed my spoiler as it was cracked got four plastic interior gromets from ford and painted them the same colour as ute and just pushed them in looks not to bad until I can think of something better.
