Guest Guests Posted 12/03/09 03:22 AM Share Posted 12/03/09 03:22 AM yeah we have issues with 03XR6T too Suck a big one Dan...trickdoubt, if you're car isn't tuned & you have a decent cooler on it there's a good chance you're overboosting. that will cause the car to run rough at higher rpm because there isn't enough fuel in the Air/Fuel mixture...This will also cause your rough idle after a quick squirt. You now have increased air flow coming in through your intake system & into your engine, but no where for it to go due to the stock exhaust (namely stock cat) in place. This means that the valves can't fully shut as the stock valve springs aren't upto the task. Hello valve float!Two options:1. Replace aftermarket cooler with factory unit.2. Get a tune to suit the new cooler. This is a waste imo as you would really want to get injectors, pump & cat to optimise the tune/cooler combo.My advice would be to either fork out for tune, squirters, pump & cat to get a safe/repeatable 280 - 290rwkw or return to stock.Hope this helped Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

trickdoubt Member 25 Member For: 16y 22d Posted 14/03/09 01:06 PM Author Share Posted 14/03/09 01:06 PM so the issues just got worse car wont rev past 3000rpm in all gears now... plus the fact that the underside pannel decided to detatch itself witch also took the front bumper off... so with everything that went wrong in those few minutes has got me thinking about selling the turbo, paying out the loan n gettin an el falcon!!!
