First jobs once I pick it up is to lower it and paint the silver parts of the grilles ether black or ego and then get my mate to tint the windows.Obviously more intelligent than yourself... Anymore you'll have problems clearing kerbs, parking logs, speed humps etc. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/55566-choosing-a-new-fg-xr6t/page/2/#findComment-841156 Share on other sites

IMO, the G6ET is quite low as is. Anymore you'll have problems clearing kerbs, parking logs, speed humps etc.Im used to low cars, my current MPS which is lowered, is alot lower than the G6ET and my club/track car that I drive on the street on weekends is also very low. Just got to be aware of the height of curbs. My old BA xr6t was dropped on superlows/super super lows and didnt have to many scrapage problems.Im only looking to lower the G6ET about 30mm allround, which will make it look nice I reckon. I got this GE6T cheaper and the change will buy the complete LSD centre out of my mates FG XR8 auto, as he has fitted a new unit with the 3.73 manual gear set and besides I didnt buy the car to do fully sik skids or track days.....that's what my track/club car is for Edited 13/03/09 09:22 AM by Smackers XR6T Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/55566-choosing-a-new-fg-xr6t/page/2/#findComment-841433 Share on other sites
